Submissions for the first anniversary issue of Shadow Pond Journal

We are coming up to the first anniversary edition of the Shadow Pond Journal where, whilst there is so much current unrest in the world,  the theme is 'peace'.

I would  like to give you a few sample haiku to read to get you inspired, each one evokes a sense of tranquility and serenity in its own way : -

for a time, my thoughts
linger on those lands to which
the swans return home
