Introducing  : Wiesław Karliński, Namyslow, Poland – teacher, translator, traveler and journalist. Author of several hundred reports published in the national press. He began writing haiku, fascinated by nature while wandering around the Polish, Scandinavian and Balkan provinces. He creates in Polish, English and Russian. He is the co-author of several volumes of poetry. His haiku has been translated, among others: into German, Croatian, Italian, Romanian and Lithuanian. Winner of the Poetry Prize Ewa Tomaszewska for the best haiku of 2021 and many other awards in Poland and abroad. Many times on the European Top 100 list of most creative haiku authors. Founding member and member of the Management Board of the Polish Haiku Association.
