Milan Rajkumar, India

 Introducing  : Milan Rajkumar is a school teacher. He lives in Imphal, Manipur, a corner of North-East India, bordering Myanmar, with his loving wife and two sons. Genetically an asian by look and food, he speaks a tibeto-burman language known as ‘Meiteilon’. His works are selected in many haikai journals such as:  Modern Haiku, Heron's Nest, Frogpond, Wales Haiku Journal, Presence, Akitsu Quarterly, Under The Bashõ, Creatrix, Prune Juice, Seabeck, Ribbons, Seashores, ESUJ, Failed Haiku, Haiku Foundation etc. 


Nowadays he writes every day and night under the mentorship of Kala Ramesh.

1st place in Consulate General of Japan’s Moonlight Haiku Challenge 2020( Haiga),

3rd place in My Haiku Pond 5th Anniversary Haiga Photo Haiku Contest,

3rd place in 25th International “Kusamakura” Haiku Competition(won the Nyusen in the Foreign Language Category),

Honourable mention in Haiku Foundation Monthly Kukai February, 2021, November, 2023. 

Exhibited in International Competition for Haiku  Poetry, Japanese Film Festival in Valli Cinema, Croatia,

Ambassador, Kyoto Haiku Project.
