Introducing  : Wiesław Karliński alias Wilhelm Karud is a teacher, sworn translator, journalist, traveler and poet. He lives in Namysłów, Poland. He visited 40 countries describing them in reports. He likes to travel around the Balkans, Scandinavia, the British Isles and Portugal. He writes about history, folklore and traditional cuisine. The leading theme of his travel texts is often bread. Haiku has been writing for 20 years. His works have been printed in many countries. Winner of several haiku and haiga competitions. Juror of haiku competitions. He is a founding member and board member of the Polish Haiku Association.
