Introducing  : Shruti Patel is an educator and writer whose work is shaped by a career working in global development cooperation and her Kenyan-Indian heritage. 

Her poems have been published in Frogpond, Acorn, tsuri-dōrō, the Wales Haiku Journal, and several others. 

She lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
