Christina Chin, Malaysia

Introducing  : Christina Chin is a Malaysian painter and haiku poet based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, recognized for her work in haiku, haiga (haiku combined with visual art), and related poetic forms that integrate poetry with painting. Her achievements include first prizes in the 34th Annual Cherry Blossom Sakura Festival Haiku Contest (2020) and the 8th Setouchi Matsuyama Photohaiku Contest (2019), four top-100 placements in the mDAC Summit Contests with exhibitions at the Palo Alto Art Center in California, two City Soka Saitama haiku prizes in 2020, and three Pushcart Prize nominations in the 2025 cycle.
